In December of 1994 I went to California to Russell Racing School at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey (they're at Sears Point now). I drove a Formula Ford 2000 and learned a lot about vehicle dynamics/racing. Also, the instructors let us drive some of the Formula Mazda/Formula Russell cars that the advanced course used (lots faster 150 MPH top speed).
